Terms of Service & Disclaimer

Last updated: [DATE] · [Company Legal Name] ("we," "us," "the Service")

1. What the Service is — and is not

The Service is software for the assembly and analysis of submittal packages and systems (primarily CSI Division 27 and 28). It organizes a bill of materials into a submittal package, assembles supporting documentation, and analyzes it. We do not sell datasheets. We are not a manufacturer, distributor, reseller, or vendor of datasheets or products, and we do not warrant any manufacturer's product or documentation.

2. Source of documentation

We assemble submittals using only documentation that you provide (for example, datasheets or files you upload) or that is publicly available from the manufacturer's own published sources. Such documentation is retrieved at the time a package is built and assembled into your package. We do not sell, host, or redistribute a library of third-party datasheets, and we claim no ownership of any manufacturer's documentation. Rights to manufacturer documentation remain with the respective manufacturers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any documentation you provide.

3. AI-generated content and accuracy

Packages, matches, and analyses are produced in whole or in part by automated and artificial- intelligence systems. These outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or incorrect document matches. The Service is provided as a productivity aid, not as a professional engineering, code-compliance, or legal opinion, and no result should be treated as verified or authoritative.

4. Your responsibility to review

You must review and verify every submittal before it is issued or relied upon. Before submission, your own qualified personnel are responsible for confirming that each datasheet is correct and current, that quantities and models match the bill of materials, and that the package satisfies the applicable project specifications, codes, and authority-having- jurisdiction requirements. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and use of any submittal you issue.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non- infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Company Legal Name] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost bids, rework, or damages arising from reliance on Service output. [Add liability cap / jurisdiction-specific language per counsel.]

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with documentation you are authorized to use. [Add additional acceptable-use, account, and termination terms per counsel.]

8. Changes
